Balanced flue fires do not require a chimney in the house and operate
via a twin walled pipe which exits horizontally through an external
wall or vertically through the roof (depending on which fire is
selected)
The outer pipe draws air from the outside while the
inner pipe expels the products of combustion. Unlike a power flue fire
the balanced flue fires don't require an electricity supply only a gas
supply is needed. These types of gas fires are glass fronted making
them an extremely efficient choice of fire.
